This autumn we've been on a quest to find the oldest Clifton water bath in the UK. Two months and over 60 competition entries later, we have found our winner. Massive congratulations to Helen Jones from Hampton Hill who joined our competition in October and revealed a 30 year old Clifton water bath - still functional!
To honour the 30-year-old water bath's remarkable service in the science department, Nickel-Electro Ltd, the makers of the Clifton Range, arranged a special factory tour for Helen. She got to see where the magic happens and claimed her prize - a shiny new Clifton water bath.
What's going on during the Clifton factory tour?
Nestled in the heart of Weston-super-Mare, Nickel Electro Ltd takes great pride in crafting the Clifton Water bath range right here in the UK. Helen, fuelled by her inquisitive nature and a passion for science, eagerly agreed to join us at the Clifton manufacturing centre in an adventure to claim her award. Alongside Lynn Thorne, her local sales rep, she embarked on a journey to uncover the secrets behind the water bath production. From the picturesque surroundings to witnessing the meticulous steps of product assembly and quality control, Helen found herself in a front-row seat to the entire manufacturing show.
