A monocular Polarization microscope with LED illumination for beginners. Thin sections of minerals and rocks, fibres and foils, even botanical samples. With it's 360 degree rotatable stage, this microscope exceeds the simple Pol contract of a biological microscope in terms of a precise detection of birefringence.
