The UT527 performs all basic PAT tests required by the IET Code of Practice, including insulation resistance, earth continuity, socket tests and more. You can use the UT527 to test all appliances. This unit is perfectly suitable for use on both class I and II appliances commonly found in offices etc, can be used safely with IT equipment and can even be used for testing 110V appliances as found on construction sites etc (requires optional 110V adapters).
