Excellent heat resistance and great cryogenic stability with a temperature range from -195°C to as high as 260°C. Suitable for lifting or handling hot, cold or chemically active materials. The chemical resistance of PTFE coating makes it normally impervious to chemical environments. The coating provides good resistance to acid and alkali solutions. Highly reactive fluorinating agents seem to be the only chemicals to affect it.
