The Quickfit® Microscale Chemistry Kit was designed to perform organic chemistry experiments, but on a much smaller scale. Reducing the scale lowers the cost of everything involved - smaller amounts of reagents, lower disposal costs and less clamping equipment. Smaller amounts of hazardous chemicals also means much safer handling. All 12 pieces also offer the reassuring quality of Quickfit® ground glass joints, screwthread connectors and PYREX® borosilicate glass. The amount of time taken to complete experimental procedures is vastly reduced - e.g. boiling and cooling times. Many assemblies can be constructed from the glassware including, reflux, distillation, moisture sensitive reactions and fractional distillation. Spares are available separately upon request.
