The NE2D advanced digital water bath provides a stable temperature environment ideal for meeting quality control requirements, featuring digital PID temperature control for precision. Controls feature auto alarm setting, illuminated on/off switch, heater and over temperature indications. The advanced digital water bath comprises of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. Fitted with side lifting handles for ease of transportation.
- Drain tap fitted as standard except on NE2-4D (BAT7022) and NE2-10D (BAT7036)
- Designed for immersion of flasks/bottles/racks in a highly stable temperature environment throughout the water bath
- Shelf in the stainless steel tank provides a stable support for flasks/bottles/racks that can be removed for cleaning, the shelf is a low height design maximising the working height
- Before leaving the factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book
- Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments
- Thermal cut out fitted in the heater
- Over temperature alarm automatically set 4°C above set temperature with visual indicator and heating is turned off protecting samples from over heating
- IP rated clear booted on/off power switch
- Fitted with non-slip rubber feet
- Featuring bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time, increments of 0.1°C, using precision PID temperature control
- Settings retained even after turning the unit off
- Easy to use splash proof controls, touch keypads for setting temperature values with indicators for heating and over temperature alarm
- Features auto setting over temperature alarm protecting samples at set temperature
- Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation
- Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area
- The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity
- Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid (sold separately) or layer of polypropylene spheres
- This range of baths will operate at 100°C however are not designed for continuous boiling, the NE1B boiling bath range is recommended
