Triplebaths™ feature three independently controlled unstirred water baths in one unit. Typically suitable for classroom use performing PCR routines in shallow temperature controlled water, each tank can be set to a different temperature for denaturing, annealing and elongation - reducing solvent and consumables. Comprising of high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tanks, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. 4L chambers are fitted with side lifting handles for ease of transportation. Each chamber comes complete with a removable “low” height stainless steel perforated shelf.
- Shallow height water baths operate with low liquid levels suiting small bottles, tubes and micro plates
- Low profile bath allows easy access and better visibility of samples being heated
- Designed for immersion of flasks/bottles/racks in a highly stable temperature environment throughout the water bath, 2L shallow tanks are ideal for small vessels, tubes and micro plates for incubation/heating
- The shelf in the stainless steel tank provides a stable support for flasks/bottles/racks that can be removed for cleaning, the shelf is a low height design maximising the working height
- Before leaving the factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book
- Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments
- Thermal cut out fitted in the heater
- IP rated clear booted on/off power switch
- Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet
- Easy to use analogue dial pointer for setting temperature, graduated in 5°C divisions
- Illuminated on/off switch and heater indication lamp
- Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area
- The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity
- Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres, covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs
- This range of baths will operate at 99°C however are not designed for continuous boiling
