DuoBaths™ feature two independently controlled unstirred water baths in one space saving unit providing a stable temperature environment. Featuring PID temperature control for precision, and run back or delay start timer. Controls feature auto alarm setting, illuminated on/off switch, heater and over temperature indications. Comprising of high quality corrosion resistant tanks, with a bright clean finish housed in durable paint finishes outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. Three shelves are supplied, two at conventional height and a taller 100mm version on the 4L chambers. Designed to accommodate small media vessels, bijou style bottles in a shallow depth. Using the conventional height in both chambers gives the benefit of two standard baths in one space saving unit.

• Designed for immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in a highly stable temperature environment throughout the water bath, by using the taller shelf in 4L chamber, shallow vessels and trays can be accommodated
• The shelf in the stainless steel tank provides a stable support for flasks, bottles and racks that can be removed for cleaning, the shelf is a low height design maximising the working height
• Eliminates problems associated with water level/disturbance when placing and removing containers of different sizes or routine operations involving two different temperatures and immersed depths such as keeping media molten in one chamber and incubation of samples in the other
• Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments
• Before leaving the factory every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration adjusting control to known traceable value, electrically tested for safety at final inspection and a test certificate enclosed in rear of the instruction book

• Every unit undergoes a factory calibration at two temperatures for validation
• Should only one tank be required, a stand by feature can be activated for the chamber not in use
• Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area
• The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity
• Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid (sold separately) or layer of polypropylene spheres
• This range of baths will operate at 99°C however are not designed for continuous boiling
